The mystery takes place at a masquerade party at the Governor of Lousiana's mansion. Coolum Business & Tourism is proud to bring Coolum another screening of Flicks in the Park. Bring along a rug and enjoy a movie under the stars with your family and friends at Tickle Park. This story follows a teenage rock hopper penguin named Cody Maverick from his hometown of Shiverpool, Antarctica, where all of the other penguins think he's nothing but a surfing fool, to the 'Big Z Memorial Surf Off' on Pen Gu Island. Young Cody is determined to win the most important competition in the world of penguin surfing in honor of 'Big Z,' a deceased surfing legend whom he has idolized since childhood.

Formed in 2014 in Noosa shire with a common love for music of their own times. Lead singer is Kenny Gamble; guitar/vocals David Zuric; keyboard/vocals Jonathan May; Jon Brown bass/vocals; Alan Lander drums/vocals. Are they just another cover band? No, they select quality dance and ballad material, primarily from the UK and USA, less often played in Australia but still known. (Nothing against Aussie music; this is merely the band's marketing point of difference.) Who do they cover? The repertoire includes material originally performed by Joe Cocker, Steely Dan, Eric Clapton/Cream, the Doobie Brothers, Rolling Stones, Boz Scaggs, Atlanta Rhythm Section, The Doors, Huey Lewis and the News, and many more.

Coolum hearts is hosting a great night of entertainment, trivia live music and dress up all for a fantastic cause to raise money for their association. Who are Coolum Hearts? Coolum HeARTs offer low cost lifestyle and creative classes to all but especially those living with challenges. We are a not for profit run by a full volunteer committee, not associated with any church or other organization and based in a Shed in Coolum Beach. All of our tutors are professional in their field ensuring a quality experience at our classes. We hold a few fundraisers during the year and this is our first, a fun 70s Trivia night with the opportunity for those who wish to dress up the chance to do so. We have some great prizes, lots of laughs and great live music. All proceeds will go to supporting the cost of our classes.

With over 2-hours of hits from The Doors, Bowie, Hendrix, Free, Steve Miller, Led Zep, T-Rex, Clapton, Deep Purple, Doobie Bros, Steppenwolf, The Stones, Beatles, AC/DC, Fleetwood Mac, CCR and many, many more, this show is an exploration that goes beyond the norm and takes you back to a time that celebrated free love, experimentation and best of all; Rock & Roll. Its far out man The four band members of the band have been locked away in a secret bunker for the past year, literally living in the 70?s! Deprived of all the mod cons, the guys have been on a diet of TV dinners and corned beef, and forced to watch re-runs of Welcome Back Cotter, The Six Million Dollar Man & Charlies Angels. The result Well thats for you to decide. But after months of therapy, the band is ready to recreate that experience on stage in all its denim-soaked, peace-sign wearing glory. Peace & love...

Stepping away from the bands, Janice picks up her acoustic guitar and brings life to versions of popular songs in her own style mixing in a few originals she has penned herself. Janice accompanies herself with stomp box and tambourine to keep things upbeat and easy to dance to and singing along is encouraged.
