Stumers Creek was famous for the Coolum Kite Festival which ran from 2000 to 2010, many international kite flyers from all over the world would attend the annual event in September. We now do not have this event as the Committee and funding travelled its course.
A nice casual walk along the beach from the main part of Town or you can drive along the David Low Way and turn into Stumers Creek Rd where carparking is provided.
